Birmingham Metro Little League and Other Initiatives


The Arthur & Eva Brown Foundation Inc. (AEBF), provides quality professional services and programs addressing matters of special education advocacy, community, career and youth development, academic enrichment, and hunger mitigation.

Our Reviving Baseball Initiative combines youth development, financial literacy, academic enrichment, service-service learning and conflict resolution into one program under the authority of the Birmingham Metro Little League.

Birmingham Metro Little League - The Birmingham Metro Little League Registration opens on January 17, 2022.  Teams within the BMLL boundary will compete for a chance to play their way to Williamsport, Pa, and the Little League World Series. Boys and girls ages 4-12 are eligible to compete in one of the many divisions of competition.

Other Programs

Academic Enrichment - Free Online academic enrichment aimed at advancing students Pre K-12 in all academic areas through asynchronous learning activities prescribed by educational professionals.

Covering All Bases (CAB) - Mentoring Program anchored in promoting youth development through participation in the sports of Baseball and Softball. Mentees are provided high-level skill instruction and participate in organized play in both competitive and non-competitive formats.

Financial Literacy Campaign - Classes offered to youth and adults on personal finance and entrepreneurship.

Hunger Mitigation - Meal and Food Box Distribution Programs aimed to support the Homeless, Elderly and Indigent.
