Foundation Partners with Major League Baseball

(Birmingham) Major League Baseball has granted permission to the Arthur and Eva Brown Foundation to serve a local host for the 2020 Pitch, Hit and Run (PHR) and Jr. Homerun Derby (JRD) Competitions. The foundation will host its first competition on March 7, 2020 @ the Inglenook Baseball Complex located at 4120 Inglenook Street, Birmingham, Alabama.  Then on March 14, 2020 the foundation is partnering with the Jones Chapel Action Task Force to host both a Pitch, Hit &  Run and Jr. Homerun Derby competitions at the historic Willie Mays Park in Fairfield, Alabama.

Both events are free for participants and open to the public.  Registration is completed online through the following links.  Participants may compete in as many local events as they choose just be sure to register for each event separately through the following links.

Winners at local completions will earn an invitation to the Sectionals, Sectional winners advance to Team competitions and the winner of the Team Competitions advance to the Finals.

Our pathway to the Finals is as follows:

Local Competiton - Birmingham, Al.

Sectional - Madison, Al.

Team Competition - Atlanta, Ga.

Final Competition - MLB All-Star Week 2020 Los Angeles, Ca.
